Seeing a major need for primary care in the populations we serve beyond West Philadelphia, we used a portion of our Projects for Progress funding to start a van-based mobile primary care clinic. Our weekly clinics are staffed by physicians from Penn Med (Dr. Kent Bream & Dr. Saad Siddiqui) on a rotating basis to diminish the barrier of transportation and scheduling for the populations we serve. Our services include acute care, primary care services, diabetes screenings (A1C testing), and vaccinations (influenza, & Tdap).
